Documentation

Meetings Remote is an Android tablet appliance for hosting and joining Zoom meetings with a connected RTSP camera. It uses Zoom's official Meeting SDK.

Install and authorize

  1. Install Meetings Remote from Google Play on an Android 9 or newer tablet and open it.
  2. Tap Start Meeting. If the room is not signed in, the app opens Zoom's secure sign-in and consent page in your browser.
  3. Sign in to the Zoom account that should host the room, review the requested permissions, and tap Allow. The verified app link returns you to Meetings Remote automatically.
  4. The home screen shows Signed in. Your Zoom password is never given to Meetings Remote.

Configure and use

Sign out, remove access, and delete data

  1. Long-press the Meetings Remote title to open Room settings.
  2. Tap Sign out & delete my data, then confirm. This deletes the server session and revokes the app's Zoom authorization.
  3. You can also remove Mobile Remote from Zoom App Marketplace's Manage → Added Apps. Zoom then notifies us to delete the associated data.
  4. After signing out, uninstall Meetings Remote using Android or Google Play if you no longer want it on the tablet.
